Connect audio source components to amplifiers and receivers with the AudioQuest Yukon RCA analog-audio cable. Designed for exceptional performance, it features Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors that minimize distortion, Polyethylene Air-Tube insulation that preserves dynamic contrasts, and Carbon Mesh-Network Noise-Dissipation to efficiently eliminate high-frequency noise. Together, these features deliver cleaner, clearer, and more naturally beautiful music.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors

Solid conductors eliminate electrical and magnetic strand interaction, helping to reduce distortion. PSC+ Solid Copper enhances sound clarity by minimizing distortion caused by grain boundaries and maximizing linear RF Noise-Dissipation, ensuring a cleaner, more accurate audio signal.

Carbon-Based 3-Layer Noise-Dissipation

Achieving 100% shield coverage is simple, but preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from affecting the equipment's ground reference requires AudioQuest's advanced Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Traditional shielding absorbs and drains noise/RF energy to the ground, distorting the critical ground plane and ultimately the signal. NDS uses alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics to "shield the shield," reflecting and absorbing most of the RFI before it reaches the ground connection, resulting in cleaner, more accurate audio.

Direction-Controlled Conductors

Every drawn metal strand has a non-symmetrical, directional grain structure, which can impact the sound quality. AudioQuest carefully controls this variation in RF impedance, ensuring noise is directed away from where it could distort the audio signal. Each batch of metal conductors is evaluated through listening tests, and the optimal direction is determined. Arrows are marked on the connectors to guarantee the correct orientation. This design not only enhances metal-directionality as part of Noise-Dissipation but also ensures that shield and ground are symmetrically attached, optimizing the overall system performance. Direction-Controlled Conductors are an essential component in AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation technology, ensuring that induced noise is effectively dissipated and drained.

Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation

Insulation materials adjacent to conductors can influence the circuit by absorbing energy and releasing it as distortion. AudioQuest minimizes this issue by using Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation on both conductors. This unique insulation enhances geometry stability and improves clarity. With a high air content and a low-loss, benign distortion profile, Polyethylene Air-Tube Insulation prevents the "out-of-focus" effect often caused by other materials. As air absorbs minimal energy, this insulation helps preserve the integrity of the signal, delivering a clearer, more accurate sound.

Triple-Balanced Geometry

AudioQuest’s Triple-Balanced Geometry design incorporates a dedicated ground-reference conductor, ensuring that the cable's shield is never used as a conductor, preventing signal degradation. Whether using RCA or XLR connectors, the three-conductor configuration guarantees that both positive and negative signals have equally superior, low-distortion paths. This balanced approach ensures a clearer, more accurate signal transmission, minimizing interference and distortion for an enhanced listening experience.

Cold-Welded, Hanging-Silver Directly Over Pure Purple Copper Terminations

AudioQuest’s Cold-Welded terminations utilize a high-pressure connection process, avoiding solder, which can often introduce distortion. This technique ensures an exceptionally clean and stable signal path. The terminations feature hanging-silver plating directly over pure purple copper, providing a highly conductive, low-distortion connection that enhances overall sound quality. This approach not only maximizes the purity of the connection but also minimizes any potential interference or loss in signal integrity.
