MONITOR AUDIO SB3 Passive Soundbar

The SB-3 passive soundbar is designed to provide a visually balanced, audio solution for 70 inch screens and larger, this stylish, high performance, passive soundbar is ideal for installers keen to deliver premium performance in media room applications.

The SB-3 incorporates a series of clever technical features and design innovations which demonstrate Monitor Audio’s revered attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Twin C-CAM bass drivers, twin ABRs (Auxiliary Bass Radiators) and a single C-CAM tweeter in the centre section to provide the SB-3 with higher acoustic output and power handling for critical centre channel reproduction. This is combined with individual mid-bass, tweeter and sealed ABR drivers for both left and right channels.

In larger rooms the SB-3 can be used with a partnering Monitor Audio subwoofer to deliver the best possible audio experience. Within smaller environments and systems, the SBs will deliver effortless full range audio way beyond the limits of any TV's sound system.

Ease of installation is another key advantage of the SB-3. High quality, low profile binding posts provide an easy and trouble free connection, with the terminals recessed neatly to enable a flush to wall installation. The terminal panel also houses standard fixing points compatible with SANUS TV mounts, with many options for TV and wall installation. Wall mounting is also possible using Monitor Audio’s low-profile wall mount bracket with cable access, easy pre-alignment and fixing template.

The SB-3 is designed to be used with a partnering sub-woofer and crossed over to provide the best possible experience and increased system power handling. Alternatively, the soundbar can be used independently to deliver an impressive uplift in TV audio performance with only a slightly reduced power handling.
